QUALIFICATIONS
A graduate of Sheffield University and a Chartered Engineer, Graham has been a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers since 1977. After graduating he obtained an M.Sc. in Construction Management at Leeds University, and has also passed the Institution of Civil Engineers Law and Contract Procedure papers.

EXPERIENCE
Having over 30 years experience in the construction industry, Graham has worked at various times for national civil engineering contractors, consultants and with a Local Authority.

He has spent six years overseas: with consultants in the United Arab Emirates, on the construction of new large scale sewage treatment projects, and with the Mass Transit Railway Corporation in Hong Kong on the construction of a major underground railway station

His wide experience includes the design and construction of many types of commercial and industrial buildings as well as roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, deep basements, foundations, drainage schemes and pumping stations.

Graham has considerable experience in structural surveys and assessments of existing large commercial buildings at time of purchase, and for major extensions and adaptation. He also has extensive knowledge and experience in surveying domestic properties, underpinning, repairs and conversion of properties for domestic use.

QUALIFICATIONS
Chris is an Incorporated Engineer. Having gained an HNC in Mechanical Engineering in 1978 and an HNC in Civil Engineering in 1980, he became an Associate Member of The Institution of Civil Engineers in 1990 and of The Institution of Structural Engineers in 1997. He is also a Member of The Association for Project Safety.

EXPERIENCE
With over 30 years experience in the construction industry, Chris has worked in both Nationalised Industry with the Coal Board and British Rail and also private consultancy. His experience includes the design and construction of heavy industrial and process buildings, leisure centres and swimming pools, multi storey commercial development, retail development and large scale refurbishment.

Additionally he has extensive experience in domestic, industrial and commercial structural appraisal and inspection.

Having originally served an Engineering Draughtsman Apprenticeship, Chris has first hand experience of the design and management of a variety of construction projects at all levels within a busy design office.
